Many see productivity as being busy, but the two are quite different. You can be busy working on one thing or so many things but yet not making headway, or busy wasting time and resources without hitting target. Whether you do so much or do little, once there is a desired achievement that brings about progress and advancement, then there is productivity.
We have seen so many busy people who constantly rush around with unnecessary panic, stay late at work, and seem to accomplish very little. Conversely, there are those who appear to get things done without stress, who always seem to be in control and have the solution.
To be productive rather than just getting busy unnecessarily, you can learn to prioritize, apply a systematic approach to daily work while being mentally focused on the activities that will result into great achievement, and occasionally take a break or vacation to reflect on progress, setbacks and way forward.
